For a friend...

I thought this book had a simple but very positive message.  And just recently, the husband of a good friend of mine died suddenly and unexpectedly -- he wasn't even 50 years old.  I gave my copy of Peaks and Valleys to my friend and told her that, when she was ready to read it, she might find some comfort in the story.  It was nice to be able to give my friend something that could really help her in such a terrible time.

I think Peaks and Valleys is one of those books that you will find something different in every time you read it, depending on what is happening in your life at that particular time.
